About the speaker
Jerry Brotton is Professor of Renaissance Studies at Queen Mary, University of London, and a prize-winning and bestselling broadcaster, curator and author. He has published nine books in more than 20 languages. They include A History of the World in Twelve Maps and This Orient Isle: Elizabethan England and the Islamic World.
