Central Hall Westminster today announces the appointment of two new senior members of staff to its busy and growing sales team.
Sarah Franczak joins central London’s largest conferencing and events centre as Director of Sales and Events from BMA House where she worked as Head of Venues. Sarah replaces Neil Parry who spent four years at Central Hall before taking up the role of Head of Business Development at the Royal Horticultural Society.
Reporting to the board, Sarah is responsible for sales strategies, including continuing its phenomenal growth over the last five years, while enhancing its reputation as a world-class events and concert venue.
Sarah comments: “To say I was ecstatic to be offered this role is an understatement. Central Hall Westminster is a fantastic venue, accommodating international events on a large scale; including some very high-profile concerts. I am looking forward to working with and developing my team of 11 Sales and Events Managers.”
Also joining the venue’s thriving team is Kelly Smith who takes on the role of Sales Manager following two years working for Levy UK as Senior Sales Coordinator at Aston Villa Football Club. Kelly replaces the previous Senior Sales Manager, Kevin Blackman who left in 2018 after eight years at the venue to take up the role of Business Development Manager at Newbury Racecourse. Kelly’s main responsibilities will be to drive event sales while managing key accounts and assisting with proactive sales activities in line with the organisation’s annual sales plan.
Kelly comments: “I am absolutely delighted to be working alongside a fantastic team in a venue as unique and captivating as Central Hall Westminster. I feel extremely proud to be able to represent central London’s largest conference and events centre and looking forward to the exciting challenge that lies ahead.”
