We’re delighted to say that our in-house catering partner, Green & Fortune have recently won not one, but three industry awards for catering.
Green & Fortune scooped the gold award in the ‘Caterer of the Year’ category at this year’s London Venue and Catering Awards. The accolade follows two wins at the Foodservice Cateys in October, where Green & Fortune clinched both ‘Boutique Caterer of the Year’ and ‘Event Caterer of the Year’.
The awards recognise excellence and innovation in the operations and delivery of catering within the events industry. We have been working with them since 2020 to provide all events catering and also run Wesley’s Café.
The Foodservice Cateys judges called Green & Fortune unique and brilliant and recognised a nimble and reactive approach to clients, impressive ESG commitments and also commended their sensitive approach to supporting staff with the cost of living crisis.
In regards to the Event Caterer of the Year category, judges were impressed by the expertise shown in delivering outstanding events and commented that Green & Fortune maximised our multi venue offerings to attract a range of clients while also supporting an array of industry charities.
The London Venue and Catering Awards judges commented, “This was a large team, with a diverse and organised operation and a strong innovation for good. They were client centric with a lovely company ethos and great delivery. They seemed to have moved into the mainstream without losing any of their entrepreneurial and qualitative flair that set them apart from the competition from the start.”
Alongside these wins, Green & Fortune were also shortlisted for ‘Best Catering at a Venue’, specifically for their work at Central Hall Westminster, but unfortunately didn’t win this category.
The Foodservice Cateys celebrates the individuals, teams and businesses shaping the foodservice industry. Now in their tenth year, the Foodservice Cateys recognise the people working tirelessly to make sure their business delivers an exceptional service day in, day out, creating memorable experiences for their guests and supporting their colleagues to succeed.
The London Venue and Catering Awards were held on Friday 24th November. Run annually since 2015 the London Venue & Catering Awards celebrate and champion the achievements and success of venues and those that offer catering services within London’s 32 boroughs’ or the City of London.
