Green & Fortune became our new on-site caterers on 1st March 2020, here’s a little intro from them.
For those of you who don’t know us, Green & Fortune is an independent hospitality company founded in 2008. Since then we have focused on our ethos of ‘People, Product and Personality’ delivering high quality catering, served with bags of personality!
Our passion for people is at the core of our business, demonstrated by us paying staff the London Living Wage at Central Hall Westminster, something that is not as common as you would hope in the catering world.
We’re both excited and proud to be working in Central Hall Westminster, a great venue at the heart of London. The wide range of events hosted at the venue sit very well with our expertise and we looking forward to putting some new ideas into practice to enhance the catering offering.
While we’ve been working behind the scenes since the start of the year and have loved getting to know the venue and clients, our first month of operations hasn’t quite been what we were expecting, given the current situation! But we love a challenge and the team are still working on future events and coming up with some exciting ideas for when the venue reopens, so that we can come back with a bang!
We are also a very social bunch and like everyone else right now, have fully embraced the world of virtual meetings. These include, not only catch ups with the Central Hall Westminster team but also working collaboratively with our teams across all three sites to develop new menus and offerings.
We have a proven track record at two other London venues, Kings Place Events and Sea Containers Events, where we provide a mix of both retail and events catering, just as we now do at Central Hall Westminster. As a boutique caterer, working in just two other venues, every member of the team has played a vital role in bringing this experience to Central Hall Westminster, with a focus on the smaller details which all play a vital role in delivering the bigger picture.
We are not ones to brag, but we have also won a number of industry awards over the last few years, including being named 2019’s Boutique Caterer of the Year at the Foodservice Cateys. We will no doubt be looking to add more to the trophy cabinet at Central Hall Westminster over the next few years too – watch this space!
