Surrounded by 2000 years of history, St Saviourgate York provides a unique event space for hosting conferences and corporate events alike.
All of our rooms are bright and airy, with the capacity to seat from 100 up to 550 delegates and attendees in a variety of styles. The Great Hall, Fulford and Rawcliffe are filled with natural light and provide excellent acoustics. Fulford and Rawcliffe also have the potential to combine by way of a moveable wall to create a larger event space if required.
Bespoke catering is available to compliment your event too, with a range of delicious menus and options available to suit every dietary requirement and group size.
Conferences for up to 550 Guests
The Great Hall is the largest space at St Saviourgate. The event space can cater for up to 400 people seated theatre style with a further 150 seated above on the balcony.
Bathed in natural light with its ornate ceilings and historic features, the space creates a unique and memorable backdrop for conferences. A two-tiered stage provides the perfect set-up for presenting and enable excellent communication between speakers and the audience.
Conferences for 150 people
Rawcliffe is a large and open event space with the capacity for 150 guests seated theatre style. Located on the ground floor, this room is easily accessible and is situated close to other rooms in the venue and the external courtyard.
Rawcliffe is a bright and airy event space, with decorative ceilings and a sky light. The room adjoins another via a moveable wall and can be extended if required.
Conferences for 100 people
Also located on the ground floor, Fulford is another large event space which can host up to 100 guests theatre style. This room has lots of natural light due to multiple high windows and unique panelling on the ceiling.
Fulford adjoins Rawcliffe and can be merged to create one much larger event space if required by way of a moveable wall, a fantastic example of Victorian architecture!
